Monument Valley, Utah

Monument Valley is one of the most scenic drives you can imagine. It's on Indian land, you pay a small fee to enter the park.  There there's a dirt road to drive around these incredible sites shown in these photos.  We've all seen those incredible column monuments in movies and magazines with super red colors, incredible sunsets, and fierce looking storm backgrounds.  The imagery you can see at Monument Valley is absolute a bucket list item to check off. 

If you're at Lake Powell's Wahweap Marina you're not far away, Monument Valley is about 125mi to the East.  Take Hwy 98 East out of Page about 65mi to Hwy 160.  Turn left NE about 30mi to Hwy 163. Turn left North on 163 and go about 25 miles, look for the park entrance.  Try to be there 2hrs before sunset, it's magnificent. There's a restaurant and gift shop there, both have great views of these mountains.
