Mohave Shoreline camping
| Shoreline camping isn't very
plentiful at Lake Mohave, but it does exist in a couple areas.
Using the road to Cottonwood Cove Resort, about 6 miles east of Searchlight,
NV (N35° 28.68' W114° 48.03'), you will find a dirt "power
line" road that peals off right to the southeast . Go down that road about
1/2mi to
another dirt road (N35° 28.280' W114° 47.607')
that goes left, east toward the lake. About 6 miles down that road
you'll find this quiet primitive camping area
at the lake's edge, shown
below.

lake mohave shorline camping, Arizona Side
The picture below is a smaller camping area on the
Arizona side, the East side of the lake. but be forwarned, it's a
slow drive to get there, about 20mi of dirt road. From the Arizona side take Hwy 93,
about 26mi north of Kingman to CR135 (CR stands for "country road").
This road is strangely named Cottonwood Rd when you see it from Hwy 93.
Don't get confused even though Cottonwood Resort is on the West side of
Lake Mohave. At the end of that long
20mi dirt road you will find this small outhouse
at the edge of the lake along with a few
places to primitive camp that are close to the edge
of the lake. You cannot launch here. See our LAKE
