The motel accommodations inside the national park are very convenient due to their close proximity to the water.  The down side is their age and availability.  These facilities are not up to par with what visitors want, some of which were built in the 60's or earlier.  Since they are inside the national park you will also pay a premium to be close to the water when compared to similar accommodations outside the national park in nearby towns such as Henderson, Boulder City, or Overton.  It's easy to get better accommodations for less money in town 10-15 minutes away where the smart money goes.  But if you insist of staying in the national park for other compelling reasons, here are the phone numbers:

Henderson Nevada is the largest town next to Lake Mead.  There are plenty of hotels that are close by, just outside of the National Park system.  Generally speaking you will find the accommodations in Henderson more modern and cost competitive with better amenities and restaurants, versus the older accommodations on Lake Mead.  The link above can help you find something quick and easy.  If you're using Callville Bay or Lake Mead Marina the Henderson area is what we recommend for hotel location.

Boulder City is situated on the south end of Lake Mead, close to Hoover Dam, Hemenway Launch ramp and Las Vegas Marina.  Boulder is a small city, more quaint, and they don't allow gambling in town.  So if that fits you're needs better just click the link above for those accommodations.

OVERTON HOTELS
