Lake Mead RV Village is a mobile home park with RV sites.  It's one of two RV parks with full hookups at Lake Mead (Overton Marina is the other).   Forever Resorts bought this RV Park June of 2003, formerly called Lakeshore Village Trailer Park.  Many changes have taken place (highly welcomed) and more are in the works.

Office hours are 7am to 7pm.

Lake Mead RV Village is the most convenient location for most visitors, closest to people traveling from So. Calif and Arizona areas.  It's located between Boulder City and Henderson, as shown in our map.

These pictures were taken summer of 2000.  The Boulder Beach national park campground is located next door, but is has no hookups.    Camping in the Spring and Fall in the NPS campground is OK without hookups, but not during Summertime.  Night time temps at Lake Mead in the summer can be 85F degrees, so come prepared with your air conditioning and stay in the RV Village.  Plug up and rest in comfort.

Some RV sites have a view of the water (above), but the shoreline is about 200yds away.   Even the closest site doesn't allow you to watch your kids in the water from your RV site.  You should plan to take a shade and set up temporary camp at the waters edge if you have little ones.

Although you can beach a boat about 1/4mi. away at the day-use area, you cannot leave a boat overnight on shore.  If you don't want to pull your boat out every night with your RV, slips can be rented at Lake Mead Marina about 2mi away.

All RV sites have water, electricity, cement slab, and a table.

These mobile homes are owned by snowbirds.  The national park rules allow people to live in them for a maximum of 6 months a year.  No year-round permanent residency is allowed.  Some of these units have a magnificent view of the Lake.  The trailer owners lease this land for $250-$310/mo, a real bargain.  If you're interested in buying one of these trailers check with the trailer park office, they keep a list of trailers for sale.  They range from $15K-$40K depending on the age and condition.
