Cottonwood Cove Resort Overview

This is an aerial view of Cottonwood Cove Resort.  If you've never been to Cottonwood this will help orient you on where everything is located and the basic "lay of the land".  This aerial picture was provide by the resort manager, Tom Burnside.

If you're staying in Laughlin and dread launching at Katherine's Landing, you may want to consider driving north on Hwy 95 to Searchlight, NV, then east 14miles.  About an hour drive, it may get you on the water much faster in peak season.  If you're headed north toward Willow Beach Harbor marina by boat you can save gas launching at Cottonwood Resort. Cottonwood puts you 20 miles closer to Willow Beach by water.  Launching at Cottonwood Cove can be a quicker launch with a large ramp, able to get you on the water and out of the water quick and safe.  You don't have to deal with the Laughlin crowd here!  And if the wind kicks up the water is nicer at the north end of the lake where it gets narrow with high mountains on the sides.
